Re: tilt/shift camera
As you say, I'm pretty sure Indigo only features a shift lens, but not tilt. The former has a lot of arch viz applications, while I've never actually seen the latter being used in a 3D rendering context.

Re: Need a new mat structure to make indigo popular
Would just like to mention that there's usually not one quick fix to popularise a software. The material system isn't *the* key thing holding Indigo back, although there's definitely disadvantages, from a usability point of view, with having separate material models rather than an "über-material" à ...

Re: Indigo renderer compatibility with MacOS 10.14 Mojave
I use eGPU on Mac OS without any problems. It's a great solution for me, as I get a light MBP, but with decent GPU rendering horsepower when I occasionally need it. If you decide to go for an eGPU, make sure it's AMD though. The NVidia OpenCL drivers for Mac seem quite bad, and you're getting nowher...

Re: light layers
For good render times, it's best to use as simple light sources as possible, without diffuse transmitters in between. You can do it, for sure, but it'll take a bit longer to render
Regarding round corners, no - there's not, unfortunately.

Re: iClone 7.3 with Indigo RT Plug-in
You can open an Indigo Queue file with a sequence from Iclone using Indigo 4 instead of Indigo 3.8. In theory at least.

Re: Nvidia Tesla for Indigo Renderer?
I think those Tesla GPUs should work, but Kepler cards aren't that fast for rendering in Indigo.

Re: Realistic Iceberg
Probably with some good texture maps, to begin with. See if you can find normal maps, spec maps etc.
I wouldn't worry too much about SSS/transmission, other than probably mixing in a bit of a Diffuse transmitter material, to ensure it's still fairly quick to render.

Great images!
Regarding, your fabrics... that's not really your fault. Indigo doesn't have the necessary shader models to render such materials, currently.

Re: The GPU does not work in large scenes
"I still can not render a scene larger than the GPU memory." I don't think your problem is solvable, unfortunately. You have relatively little video memory, yet want to render big scenes. Indigo doesn't have "out-of-core" GPU rendering, and NVIDIA GPUs are known to be more memory limited in OpenCL m...

Re: New user with Indigo/Blender-problem (OS X)
If you download it to Mac OS X, it automatically unpacks the zip, unfortunately. Go to the folder you just downloaded, open it and select indigo_exporter. Right/CMD click, and compress. Then go to blender and install the add-on from the zip file you just created. Enable it in Blender, save user sett...

Re: Pikadili89's projects
I don't think it's as much about the material type or maps, as it is about making sure the textures match in tone and saturation.

Those pool shots are really nice. Vegetation needs work - doesn't quite seem to match.
