Hi Life,
it's reasonable request and I have added a ticket for this. We might add this at some point in the future.
Thanks,
Yves

Re: Indigo Benchmark 4.4.15
I just ran my 1st test with Vii and Vega FE, scores are way higher now. (1st run all stock) Edit: Did you guys make changes to the Bench Renderer or did driver improve or both? - I'll run benchies on the old version later I guess. Hi ghola235, There were quite a lot of improvements and fixes for GP...

Re: Crash With Multi-subobject
Hi Dustin,
can you provide a max scene file with which I can reproduce this crash?
Thanks!

Re: IES lighting + other lighting
Hi mpro31,
if I recall correctly, IES lights have a certain "power" that you can override with emission scale. I would guess your other lights are just not bright enough.
If you could provide a scene file (.c4d, but maybe a packed Indigo scene, .pigs is enough), I can look into it.
Best,
Yves

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
thanks for the reply fused, the issue with lower opencl performance in macOS compared to Windows (-40% speed) isn't a matter of opencl drivers? I wasn't aware of this. In Indigo, compared to running on Windows through bootcamp? My statement was more about the theoretical. But I'm also seeing some d...

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
Hi fused, that's great news for the future of Indigo, I wish Metal performs better that OpenCL in MacOS, especially with the newly released AMD rx 6000 series. Hi mpro31, the thing with all these different compute APIs is, that they will all roughly run at the same speed, internally they all use th...

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
Will it be possible to use CPU and GPU for rendering at the same time? :D . ( I hope is not a silly question :? ) Not at all :) It came up in our discussion, but I can't really give you an answer on that, for now. Is GPU bi-directional path tracing on the horizon? It's something we have been consid...

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
coolio ! but you can drop vulkan openCL,cuda and metal covers everything. vulkan is really good for realtime engines anyway, just my 2 cents.. Evolution! Good news indeed! @schwungsau I believe Vulkan is needed for Windows machines using upcoming AMD cards with RTRT acceleration. Yes, something alo...

Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
It's been a challenging year globally, so we thought it's a good time to give a bit of positive news and an outlook on where Indigo is heading next. First and foremost, Indigo 4.4 is nearing completion and a stable release is almost done, thus exiting beta phase. Core technology updates for future r...

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
I think they have a library that allows 3rd party plugins to read the volumetric data, but currently Indigo does not support any way to load the data.
In general, it's possible.

Oh that's good to hear, generally, I compile cindigo against the latest version available at the time, for R20+ you'll want to be on the specific version, listed as supported.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.14 Beta
another bug: i see 4 gpus, but only 2 1070ti gpu really installed on the board (4.4.14): Clipboard01.jpg where can i clean the list? p.s. i just swapped two cards to another. Hi wob, Indigo currently only queries devices once at startup. If you are hot-plugging GPUs, you'll have to restart Indigo. ...
