Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.4 Release
Does this even get tested? When I check "enable gpu rendering", my entire scene vanishes. Needs to get properly qa tested before being put out.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.4 Release
Unusable. Is this being checked for bugs before its put out there? Within 2 minutes of trying to use it, something falls apart.

Re: The best rendering engine?
Indigo gives exceptional results. Some of the best. The problem is with the user interface. It feels very unfinished and you're left with a very slow, clunky, and inefficient workflow. No undo/redo history option. No option to iterate with multiple versions of a scene. No way to remember camera sett...

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
I think this tech is very neat, but it would be very helpful to see some UI change, such as an "undo/redo" buttons and a "history" window like Photoshop. Hope everyone is staying safe.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.9 Beta
The thing is, this kind of experiment has zero real world relevance. What company is going to ask you to render a couple of cubes? For people who do this for a living, having rock solid stability in areas that relate to the work is crucial.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.9 Beta
Thank you to the team for all the hard work that went into this, especially in these uncertain times. I plan on using Indigo for some upcoming work for a big client, and I was wondering if there are any major updates planned for the UI. I don't have the money to invest in big name renderers like Ke...

Re: The best rendering engine?
I have had quite a bit of downtime over the past few months and have been messing around with every rendering tool I could get my hands on. Long story short, from a Mac user, Indigo and Maxwell win out in terms of render quality. I tried Bella too and it is great (a TON of potential), but the user i...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.8 Beta
The "time till next update" ticker counts down very quickly. Is this normal?

Re: UI feedback
I hope everyone here is staying safe in these troubled times. Really appreciate the work the Indigo team has put into this. Just wanted to send this over as it may help. I have noticed Indigo has begins to show major stability issues when changes are being made over hours. I am working with a big sc...

Re: UI feedback
It's not that user friendly though. It picks the name for you, and you often have to dig through your computer to find them. You have all sorts of file types too, which can we confusing. What I am asking for would be a feature where instead of outputting multiple files, Indigo continuously overwrite...

Re: UI feedback
Autosave feature would be fantastic. Any creative professional or company who has millions resting on a project would be very reluctant to use a tool that has no recovery option.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta
Hey OriginalPlan, Just a few thoughts (I don't have time to reply to everything as I am busy with a client at the moment.) I don't see why bucket rendering and denoising shouldn't work on older computer. I mean, I can't expect it to work as quickly as Apple's latest and greatest flagship products, b...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta
As a follow up, I have encountered a bug where the "assign material" tool doesn't work anymore. The render will restart, but when I select the material, it hasn't been changed. Indigo version 4.2.25.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta
Think about it, the system reserves a fair bit of the GPU RAM, so do other applications running on your system. 512 MB of ram is not all that much, especially not these days. For reference on the performance you could get from that GPU, have a look at the benchmark results. On the last page of the ...
