cryptic error messages
I'm a little stressed out right now. My primary computer is under repair and I should continue working on my older PC. But now I get cryptic error messages in plenty all the time. http://see3.de/demo/Error_0003.png http://see3.de/demo/Error_0001.jpg A little while ago it worked all fine on this comp...

Re: Tone mapping with HDRI
Thank you!
In parallel I tried exact this way, with real crazy high values. But is this really the usual way to deal with ISO values or emission multiplicators in a million range?

Tone mapping with HDRI
I have problems with tone mapping, when I'm using just a HDRI map for lighting. With "Reinhard" I receive some good results. But with different tone mapping as "linear" or "camera" the images are all just black. Even the untonemapped .exr, whatever I change in the camera settings. The reason I have ...

Viewport lag
Hi there, I have an annoying issue with viewport speed on my system, when I use Indigo materials in my scenes. There are max 10 materials, metals and minerals, but plenty of objects. Object count doesn't effect much on working speed, but my materials really does. Any hints to speed up my viewport in...

Such a nice tool, but unfortunately half way done, so far. And for my current project it's useless this way. :/

Material ID Tracer
Hi there,
can anybody tell me how to control the colors of ID Tracer. They are changing all the time for very few materials in my scene.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you guys, so far.
The main conclusion out of your help is: I don't have to change the horse for the moment!

Re: Difference between internal and external rendering
Thank you, guys. But it's still strange. Have a look at the different renderings: The frame on the left is rendered in editor, the middle one in Cinema's (R18) picture viewer and the right one within Indigo 4.0.54. It's not only the different lighting. Have a look at the reflections in the metal par...

Re: Difference between internal and external rendering
Are you using GPU render mode? Would you mind uploading a .c4d zip so we can have a look. Also what version of Indigo are you using? Holy sh**! I had no idea, this could affect such an issue. Without GPU I get back dispersion, at least. (see _0004.jpg on the very right) Yes, I had GPU mode active. ...

Difference between internal and external rendering
Hello all, I have several problems with Cindigo 4.0.51. There are completely different results when rendering within C4D or exporting a scene to Indigo. See these results with different light setups. On the left are internal renderings, on the right rendered with Indigo . Picture 01 was lighted with...

Selection tags don't work correctly
Hi there, I try to use selection tags in Cinema 4D to apply different materials on a object. It works in editor view and when I render with internal render engines. But not so with Indigo (V3.8.37 full). Some parts are correct, some not. I have no idea to solve this issue. See this as a sample: Sele...
