Suv, do you plan to do the same view-dependant feature for fly-through animated cameras?

Just ran "showproperties meditMaterials[1]" with ImportMat and got "false".

I dont.
Just make Maxigo_ImportMat working(with saving path to .IGM file if it's chosen), that's enough. =).

The intencity is better to be lowered by 20% approximately, and please, make emitters twice as smaller.
There could be an option to choose preview window size, though.

I think it's a must-have function for testing personal-written modules. Here is the code for IES-Lights. Hope this helps. --scenescale = format"<include><pathname>C:\Indigo\scenes\meshlight_IES.igs</pathname></include>\n\n" for iL in lights do ( try (if iL.distribution == 3 then ( --ies_xposition = ...

Ok, I've done a script, that generates IES lights XML code, and I need it to be included in exported scene. Just a string value like a pre-render script in max, you know...

Suvakas, please, make an option for Maxigo to include .igs files in exported scenes. This would keep me from copy-pasting stuff monkey-job, thanks in advance! :roll:

There are some checks to make it exporting right. I'll make a simple conversion function, if Suvakas is too busy with his job right now, as I have some freetime lately. :) Just a simple 1-button action script.

edit: @suvakas ... if you read this, it would be nice to have the possibility to use a pointlight with Web distribution and the IES file, to get exported as a very, very small meshlight that uses the IES file of the pointlight. I don't know how much work this would be, but it would be awesome for s...

The simplier is workflow - the more users it attracts. Maxigo is simple - and thats the way it should stay forever.
