Bsurfaces New Year's contest
Hi everyone! You probably know Bsurfaces a commercial Blender plugin. There's a contest going on now http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?238793-Bsurfaces-New-Year-s-contest.-(And-Christmas-bonus) . The idea is that one invites a sculptor to post their work done in any sculpting software, ...

Re: IOR values for blended materials
I'm not sure what kind of an answer you're expecting, but I think you're taking a wrong approach. In real world there's all kinds of grass with different properties in terms of reflectivity etc. also obviously it depends on things like weather, humidity so no one will give a totally correct value. I...

[REQ] Render Layers, Render Elements etc.
I know this question has been around for some time, but I couldn't find any proper explanation. Is it possible for Indigo to have more render layers, such as z-depth , shadow, reflection ( like in Maxwell) or any other? I know there's "mat id" which gives some flexibility in editing the output image...

@kdarius
The grass is a circular patch scattered with Blender hair.
I used these http://www.fuzzimo.com/free-hi-res-orna ... -textures/
textures, and played with materials for quite a long time.

Villa Savoye
I've had a bit of a break in using Indigo, I decided to get back to some of my work that I created for the modernism competition and do some exterior shots.
Here it is, I hope you like it.

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases
How do I render hair particles (hair particle instanced objects).
Is it impossible or am I missing something?
I could render only the emitter type.

I can remove them right away if you don't like.
It's just because I've got nothing to do.

Re: August Competition - Modernism
in Spanish ¨Modernismo¨ and ¨Moderno¨ is diferente. I think that's what i was talking about in the first place. (Modernism vs modernity as in modern architecture). So we've got Modernism, Modernity, "Modernismo", and modern architecture, each meaning different thing. I don't want to in any way unde...

Re: August Competition - Modernism
Example: Modernism = Antoni Gaudí / Modern = Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Now you confused everything. Sure Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was a modernistic architect as well as well as his architecture is modern, meaning contemporary. Gaudi's architecture was "Modernisme" or Catalan modernism which is a di...

@manitwo:
I think your image is extremely quality, but since when is it any modernistic (as opposed to modern)?
Have you checked this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modernism?
