Is there no way to force install Indigo for Max into 3DS Max 2023?
The installer only lists 3DS Max 2021 as the latest.

Re: Blendigo not functional for Blender 2.93LTS and 3.0
Bendigo 4.3.3 works with Blender 2.9.7 [LTS] Installation isn't as simple as downloading the zipped file and installing it through Blender's preference->Addon "Install" menu. I was thinking of moving to Blender as the exporter seems to still be in development. How exactly do we install the latest B...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Almost a year since weve had any word from the Indigo team. Their social accounts are all dead, the forum is dead, updates to the software dead, updates to plugins dead. Kinda scary when youve invested time and effort into an engine only for it to be abandoned. Considering I still think indigo is on...

Re: minimal recommended hardware - laptop
I thought you were still 33, that's what your profile states. Perhaps you're closer to my age than what I thought... Thanks again. I miss some more bustle in this forum, don't you? Hahaha I am 34. But my Uncle was also in the computer industry so I had alot of experience with PCs by the time I was ...

Re: minimal recommended hardware - laptop
I think I'm somewhat older than you, and although I'm not into building computers I could rebate some of your assertions: - quadro cards have been into market for more than 20 years, and they have been used by pros since then. Me myself, my second computer (Pentium III) had a quadro GeForce which b...

Re: minimal recommended hardware - laptop
Thank you Mr Black, you were really helpful. However, i find it difficult to believe online benchmarks when an old second hand DELL Precision M6800 is as expensive as a new Asus ROG Strix G15s: the M6800 MUST have some advantage over the ROG G15s. Not to say a beast like the HP Z640, with 14 cores ...

Re: minimal recommended hardware - laptop
Hi, I'd like to know which minimal laptop (or GPU + CPU + chipset ) specs you'd recommend nowadays (11/2021), to get good rendering speeds. Would a modern 1200 € laptop offer better rendering results than a workstation from year 2015 (core i7 6820HQ, NVIDIA QUADRO M1000M 2GB)? thanks. A modern ~120...

Re: System keeps crashing
CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES Hi, I'm not very familiar with this, but it sounds to me, as if your scene would possibly need more memory (graphics-card-RAM) to render it in your current 'constellation' (including image-resolution etc). If the whole scene does not 'fit' into your memory 'at once', it can (com...

Re: 3 Moods of a single Bedroom
The lighting in that first shot looks really cool.
It looks like someone took the picture with a flash on.
How did you go about doing that, just an invisible light behind the camera?
Willing to share the settings?

Re: Projector Lighting
Hi Wob, thanks for the reply, I wasn't talking about volumetric lighting but projector lighting (light beams an image/video) thanks anyway:) Couldnt you make a projector with a textured light source.....theoretically the light "projected" would then actually beam whatever the image was/is. Look at ...

Re: Radeon 6800 GPUs - anyone have benchies for these?
yeah, saw that, but really want to see an Indigo test, the newest Indigo benchmark I did on Nov 25th gave my Radeon Vii score a huge boost, they did some tweaks to the updated benchmark. So I'm looking for benchies in Indigo with any 6800 series card so I can get an idea how much more powerful they...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.15 Release Candidate
Does Release Candidate mean the likely next version of Indigo 4.4 will be based on this....and the next Beta update might be a while away? Not really on topic but im sure it could be answer here. Comparing Nvidia GPUs to AMD GPUs which would be the better investment for Indigo? Is Indigo utilizing C...
