Ah, ok. Is there any work around, as I can't seem to find the relevant settings that arc en ciel has suggested in the revit settings, and we'd like to use Indigo to generate some renders for an upcoming competition?
Thanks

Re: Indigo settings problem
We're experiencing the same problem too. Is it best to roll back to an earlier version for the time being?
Thanks, Jen

Hi Whaat, Is there any chance the 'Apply Settings to Scene' button could come back? I noticed in this thread - http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10871 - that it was temporarily removed due to bugs. Re: My past few years with indigo
I would go for some Glass Handrail yours remind me of my time back in school ^^ Maybe you can find some inspiration from (modern) museums, how to bring space to life and create interesting but accessible spaces. Prefer Glass over concrete walls to get open and airy feeling, also inside the building...

Re: How to use environment maps?
Ah I see, you are doing it the normal way ^^ Tell you this: the Indigo sun should be the reference for the environment strength and thus for the tonemapping settings; it is of a calibrated power. Use a weight of 1.0 to start with. Environment maps in turn can ship with arbitrary power levels; this ...

Re: How to use environment maps?
Wether it has been painted into the environment map or is a geometry, the emitting power of the fake sun is too strong. Change it's emission scale or layer value, the discrepancy is eclipsing the sky. Thanks! It works now, although I couldn't change the emission scale in skindigo it seemed (I don't...

Re: My past few years with indigo
Just thought I put up some works in progress of the my work for my final student architectural project (which makes up 55% of my degree! eek!) They're nowhere near finished, as I've got to do loads of work on the furniture and surrounding context - trees, buildings, etc. (including getting some bett...

Re: How to use environment maps?
Hi, I'm having a similar problem as this, yet no matter how much I change either the environment map power, the tonemapping settings or swap environment map itself, it still renders with a black sky and bright sun. This happens whenever I add a 'fake' sun to environment maps - is there a setting I'...

Re: Problem with trees and textures
Yeah, I think SketchUp does something to the texture that Indigo does not like. However, I need to look into this a bit more to confirm the issue. You can still use Photoshop to color change the texture and then use external textures instead. Thanks Whaat, On an unrelated note, whenever I add a 'fa...

Re: Problem with trees and textures
Hi, Did you adjust the color of the TIF texture in SketchUp? I think this can create problems. Try resetting the color to the original texture color and see if the TIF versions works. Hi Whaat, Yep, that appears to have been the problem. Thanks! :-) I presume there's something sketchup does to the ...

Re: Problem with trees and textures
Just to update... I looked at the textures a little further and realised they were TIF files.
After changing them to PNGs the render worked!! Have TIFs been disabled in the new release of Indigo?
Thanks,
Jen

Problem with trees and textures
Hi All, I've just upgraded to v3 of Indigo and it's a huge improvement - love it! However, I'm having a problem with external OBJ files. In Indigo v2 I had a scene set up which had several trees referenced in and it worked really well. Now, when using v3 and after using the 'Edit Active Mesh' refere...
