Is it just me or is the wood beams texturing looking funky? Wood grain size & direction bothers me.

I'm not sure what you mean by that? Surely it's just a scaling factor and the illumination is even across the plane? Point light calculation employs the inverse square law, it gets progressively weaker the further it is measured form the origin. The light origin is taken as the center of of the lig...
